Images

These are some of the images which helped us to create our Courtesan look

The inspiration for our costumes came from many sources. We've included a few images which may be inspiring to you as well. The chopines are one of the accessories which some believe uniquely identifies the Courtesan, though this has been disputed by costume historians. The "V" back of the dresses is a uniquely Venetian feature. The "horn" hairstyle has also been a symbol of Venetian style. We combine many of these elements to create a theatrical personification of the Venetian Courtesan.

The back drops to a "V" a very Venetian touch.
